Fanny’s Journey
Bao Xiang Rui began more than ten years ago in China, where Fanny — founder, buyer, and the eye behind every piece — built her trade the slow way: stone by stone, learning to read colour, translucence and character the way others read faces. Three years ago she made Singapore her home, and the business came with her. The shop at Chinatown Point is the newest chapter of a practice more than a decade old — and every piece in it still passes through her hands first.
The Name We Carry
Our name holds three wishes, one in each character. 寶 — bǎo — a treasure. 祥 — xiáng — auspicious. 瑞 — ruì — a good omen. Together they are the promise behind every piece that leaves our hands: precious, meant well, and made to outlast us.
The Stone
Jade is not manufactured to a design; it is met, one stone at a time. Formed in the earth over millions of years, no two stones share the same colour, translucence or character. We deal only in natural jadeite, sourced personally — and because nature does not repeat herself, neither do we. When a piece finds its keeper, there will never be another quite like it.
人養玉,玉養人
The old saying goes: people nurture jade, and jade nurtures its keeper. Worn close to the skin, jade warms to the one who wears it, growing softer and deeper with the years. It is bought rarely and kept long — worn for protection, given in blessing, passed from hand to hand across generations. We choose pieces worthy of that journey.
How We Work
You will find no checkout on this site, and that is deliberate. Jade deserves a conversation, not a cart. Browse the catalogue, gather the pieces that speak to you, and send us your enquiry — we reply personally on WhatsApp with each piece’s price, provenance and story. Or come and sit with the stones themselves at Chinatown Point in Singapore, where every consultation is private and unhurried.
